This privacy statement applies to Survey Passport, owned and operated by CRG Global, Inc. specializing in Market Research. CRG Global, Inc. has created this privacy statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy and to inform respondents about our practices regarding personal information collected when they use the Survey Passport mobile app and participate in our surveys. The following paragraphs disclose our information gathering and dissemination practices.
Personal Information
Personal information is any information that identifies you the research participant. This can include name, email, phone number, mailing address and your Survey Passport Id.
What You Directly Provide Us
Your participation in any of our surveys is voluntary. You may be asked to provide personal information, upload photographs, videos, audio, or provide a signature, or complete journals via Survey Passport to complete a survey.
You can also optionally two-factor authenticate and bind your cell phone number to your Survey Passport account to make switching between devices or restoring your account possible.
What You Automatically Provide Us When You Use Our Services
Usage Information
CRG Global, Inc. collects information about your activity through our Services. For example, we collect information such as the time, date, Survey Passport task details, web cookies and web server log files.
Device Information
CRG Global, Inc. collects information about your device, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, Google Firebase registration id, Apple Push Notification Service (APN) device token, browser type, language and mobile network information.
Device Photos / Videos / Audio
Because Survey Passport is about participating in media advanced surveys, CRG Global, Inc. may with your consent, collect information from your device's camera and photo/video gallery or microphone. This is done on a per-project, per-task basis.
Keep in mind that using Survey Passport over a cellular network will use your data plan and may cost you money. CRG Global, Inc. recommends that respondents only complete Photograph, Video and Audio tasks when connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
CRG Global, Inc. is based in the United States. Although we welcome Survey Passport respondents from all over the world, keep in mind that no matter where you live or where you happen to use our Services, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries. CRG Global, Inc. wants you to know this because the laws of the United States and those of other countries where your information is processed might not be as comprehensive or protective as laws in the country where you live. And while you're in another country, know that your information may be made available to government or law enforcement requests.
Use of this information
CRG Global, Inc. does not sell, rent, lease or loan personal information collected from its respondents to any third parties except as described in this privacy statement. Your name is never disclosed to our clients and your responses are always kept confidential. CRG Global, Inc. uses personal information strictly for research purposes only. Demographic information along with the data collected using the Survey Passport mobile application are used to analyze your opinion, behavior, attitude and other characteristics on a particular study. This data is used in aggregate with other participants. CRG Global, Inc. may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as shipping your order or offering customer service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. Unless required or authorized by law, your personal information is never disclosed to a client or third party.
If CRG Global, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
Opt-Out Policy
By installing the Survey Passport mobile application and using your Passport ID in a research survey, you agree to complete the required tasks outlined in the project requirements. To opt-out from Survey Passport, please uninstall the application from your mobile device. You can optionally close your account by going to https://join.crgglobalinc.com/ and fill out the form. Make sure you select the "Please remove me from your contact list" option before submitting.
Security
CRG Global, Inc. employs strict measures to safeguard your personal information. CRG Global, Inc. follows generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Access to your personal information is limited to a few authorized personnel, who use this information for quality control and analysis only. Our data is saved on secured servers in the cloud.
